Teaching our children self-kindness is critical for learning, development, and confidence.  We want to inspire our little ones to be the best they can be to their own standards and arm them with resilience and positive mindsets for years to come.

We aspire for the Tree house to be Tūrangawaewae . 'a place to stand' where everyone feels empowered and connected. Our programme is guided by Te whariki our Early childhood Curriculum. Supporting each tamaiti to learn and explore their interests in their own unhurried time – ā tōna wā. Empowering them to become confident and competent ako (learners) ready for a journey of life long learning. We are committed to Te Tiriti o Waitangi and acknowledge the bicultural heritage of Aotearoa. The use of Te Reo Maori and Tikanga practices in natural and meaningful ways woven into our daily practices. We embrace and affirm each nga tamaiti culture, identity, and language, supporting tamariki to have mana and positive awareness of their own and other cultures. We know our Kaiako (teachers) are vital to the development of tamariki and their wellbeing is of the utmost importance. We support their professional and personal goals and empowering them to utilise their skills and seek support for to continue their own learning journey. We believe Papatūānuku (Earth) is a taonga (gift) and should be protected. We foster an understanding of kaitiakitanga and the responsibilities of being a kaitiaki for Papatuanuku through role modelling respect, care and love for our garden, environment, resources and promotion of sustainable practices. At the Tree house we believe strong authentic Whanaungatanga (relationships) with tamariki, whānau and the community is the key to, providing the foundation for a sense of unity, belonging and cohesion for all. About Us

The Kirwee Tree House is a modern purpose-built learning centre located in the heart of Kirwee.
We are a fully catered centre meaning that you only need to drop of your child with a change of clothes.  We provide meals, nappies, and wipes.
 
Although our centre is brand new our team of teachers have years of experience and specialist training between them.  This ensures that our tamariki will have a safe, fun and quality introduction to learning.
 
With a carefully thought out primary school transition programme we promise to make your Childs journey to 'big school' as seamless and stress free as possible.
 
We base our curriculum on Te Whariki, empowering our tamariki to become competent and confident learners and communicators, healthy in mind body and spirit, secure in their sense of belonging and in the knowledge that they make a valued contribution to society.
 
Our values are based around kindness with a strong focus on sustainability, doing our best to preserve our environment for future generations and act as guardians of our beautiful country and incredible eco-systems.
